What is an escape room?

An escape room is an immersive, teamwork based, puzzle solving interactive experience. You and your team will be working together to complete all of the challenges of the game before the 50 minute time limit expires.

Am I locked inside of a room?

Absolutely not. You will not be physically restrained, we never lock the door, and you can leave at any time.

Is it scary?

Only a little bit. Our environment is creepy, our custom soundtrack is suspenseful, the story is thrilling, and there a few surprises. That being said, we do not have actors hiding in the rooms to jump out at you, and your group will stick together the whole time.

How much does it cost?

This depends on the day that you are playing, and the number of players. Visit the booking page, choose a time, and select a number of players too see the price for the booking.

What are the age requirements?

We do not have specific age rules. We recommend ages 10+. Some parts of the room can be creepy/thrilling (PG-13). If your child is sensitive to creepy environments you might want to get a babysitter. If you bring small children or toddlers you will be expected to keep a close watch on them. Anyone under 18 will need parent approval on our waiver. If your child is coming without you, please print our waiver and send your child with a signed form. There needs to be at least one adult in the room during every game. The waiver can be downloaded at arcaneescaperooms.com/waiver

Will our group be combined with strangers?

Nope. We sell private games only. This means that your group will get the room to yourselves, even if you have a small group.

I already booked for my group… can I add more players?

You can add more players to the group, as long as you don’t exceed the maximum number for the game that you have chosen. The maximum for The Agency is 8 players. The maximum for The Hideout is 6 players. You can bring the extra players with you at your scheduled time, and we will take payment for the extra players when you arrive.
